Manual or try chrlauncher. There may be other auto-updaters. I prefer manual so I can verify the hash.

Yeah why not!!! maybe i am going to test-it, thanks for the tips.

PS : As i use self hosted searxng + nginx + ca-https, am not sure because : (but i will test-it anyway)

I am currently testing Opera browser and I am impressed with its "Tab Island" feature. I like the "Tab Stack" feature in Vivaldi browser, but Opera's "tab island" feature works automatically and that's better.

From a productivity perspective, I really like how Vivaldi works, but I often run into some issues with it. Since the Vivaldi team previously worked on Opera, I decided to give Opera a try, hoping it might share some of those features. Surprisingly, there are quite a few similarities.

One feature I particularly like is the "Tab Island," which automatically organizes my tabs. This is especially useful if you tend to open many tabs from similar websites at the same time—otherwise, it might not be necessary. I also appreciate the ability to copy a page link directly from the context menu. Opera’s bookmark system feels more familiar and straightforward compared to Vivaldi’s, which I find a bit unusual. It also supports uBlock Origin and is lightweight on system resources.

So far, I haven’t encountered any major issues, but I do find that its built-in ad blocker is as weak as Vivaldi’s. Although Opera offers more filter options to experiment with, I haven’t changed the default settings yet.
