The 2025 anime TV show Record Of Ragnarok Season 3 (Record Of Ragnarok III).

Record of Ragnarok Season 3 Trailer:

Record Of Ragnarok Season 3 Review | THE BEST SEASON SO FAR!:

My Thoughts

My brother GC and I liked and binge-watched season 1 and season 2 of this anime TV show.

Oddly, they got ignored by the greater anime community, and some negative whispers / jabs from the Black anime community.

Some complained about the animation being bad, but I disagreed.

When I saw the trailer for season 3, the thumbnail, and some animation did look worse than previous seasons.

So I was a bit concerned.

I still looked forward to seeing it return, and was curious where it goes next.

Fortunately, the animation was not as bad as it looked in the trailers.

The animation quality is probably worse than previous seasons.

But it was not enough to bother me most of the time, only sometimes.

Fortunately, this season stays consistent with the others, and it even made me somewhat tear up, surprisingly.

So once again it was another easy to watch season that is worth watching, in my opinion.

I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5, and I look forward to the next season.

The 2025 American adult animated TV show Common Side Effects Season 1.

Common Side Effects Season 1 Trailer 2:

You NEED To Watch Common Side Effects (It’s Insanely Good):

My Thoughts

I first learned of Common Side Effects Season 1 thanks to my brother GC.

He sent me a trailer for Common Side Effects Season 1, and he recommended watching it.

I was not a fan of the animation, but I gave it a chance.

To my surprise, this turned out to be one of the best animated TV shows of the year.

This and Scavengers Reign are good, and somewhat similar.

Sadly, it like Scavengers Reign were ignored by every YouTube channel that I follow almost.

Except for maybe Penguinz0 et cetera.

Who mentioned that it was good, in a YouTube.

Both of these shows have a message, mood, style, world, et cetera that standout.

I am surprised that this show even got made with it critique of capitalism, greed, some healthcare systems, et cetera.

Sadly, both will probably get lost to time, but I do recommend watching both of them.

I liked Scavengers Reign more, though.

The 2014 Danish drama mystery horror film When Animals Dream (Når Dyrene Drømmer) that was directed by Jonas Alexander Arnby. It stars Lars Mikkelsen and Sonia Suhl.

WHEN ANIMALS DREAM – Official Trailer:

Film Review: When Animals Dream (2014):

My Thoughts

My brother GC and I watched this film a year or two ago.

Instead of giving my thoughts as usual, I will share what my brother GC thought about this movie.

This is what my brother GC had to say about this film:

*Possible Spoiler(s) Warning*

I saw it.

It’s basically like that movie “Let The Right One In”.

Yet, it features a werewolf instead of a vampire.

It focuses on the monster instead of a human.

It wasn’t a terrible movie, but there were some aspects I didn’t like about it.

First, just like the movie, Let The Right One In.

This was too slow.

It didn’t show or explain enough to help you understand what had happened.

It also didn’t give clarity on what was going on.

Second, the werewolf design.

Really weak and underwhelming.

They basically did some makeup and added fangs and claws.

She didn’t get taller, more muscular, or anything like that.

I really don’t like that kind of werewolf design.

I like certain werewolf designs that are a bit more human-like that have less fur and more skin showing, like this:

Dog Soldiers Werewolf Finally Underway!:

But when the werewolf just looks like someone with more hair on their face and hands, yellow eyes, fangs, and claws, like this:

Penny Dreadful | Production Blog: Josh Hartnett to Werewolf Prosthetics | Season 2:
maxresdefault.jpg

That is when they lose me.

Third, the title.

It doesn’t make much sense.

“When Animals Dream”?

First, this movie doesn’t seem like it has anything to do with dreams or anything like that.

Second, it seems pretty clear that this girl is a werewolf.

She is not an animal.

She is a monster.

Furthermore, she even says she is a monster, or she is turning into a monster.

She is not some regular animal like a wolf or something.

This isn’t Wolf’s Rain.

She is a mythological creature.

The title should have been something like, The Monster’s Secret, or something like that.

The 2006 French-Canadian supernatural horror movie Silent Hill.

Silent Hill (2006) – Official Trailer (HD):

Silent Hill – Movie Review:

My Thoughts

I saw this movie in a movie theater when it was first released.

The arrival at Silent Hill, with the ash babies and creatures, creeped me out.

This movie was better than the usual video game movie, and it was not bad for a horror film.

Many people didn’t seem to like this movie when it was released.

However, I preferred it over the critics’ opinions.

My Thoughts

I finally got to see this film thanks to my brother GC, who likes werewolves.

I usually see it listed as one of the best werewolf films of all time.

Likewise, I think that it held up pretty well for a movie this old.

It is also in my list of favorite werewolf movies of all time.

I liked Jenny Agutter’s performance as the character, Nurse Alex Price.

I did not like how the movie ended abruptly to out-of-place music during the ending credits.

Spree (2020) Joe Keery Comedy Thriller Horror Movie Review | Spookyastronauts:

My Thoughts

When I saw the trailer for this movie, I was surprised to see that Joe Keery was in a movie.

It looked like it had potential. So my brother GC and I watched it yesterday / early this morning.

This movie was better than we had expected for a low budget movie.

The performances were better than expected. The various camera angles and styles were unique for a movie.

The effects exceeded my expectations. The film surprised me several times.

This movie actually had a message about the impact of social media on those who watch it.

It also explored the influence of online streaming and social media influencers on the creators.

The 2025 American post-apocalyptic science fiction TV show Pluribus Season 1.

Pluribus — Official Teaser | Apple TV:

Pluribus – Review:

Is Pluribus Good:

My Thoughts

I saw the thumbnail for Pluribus Season 1 on an online streaming video website.

It caught my attention, so I was going to watch the first episode eventually.

Even though I had not seen a trailer or review for Pluribus.

So I had no idea what it was about exactly.

Then I saw the title for a video by Quinn Ideas.

That said that, it was the best science fiction show on TV right now.

I did not see that video, but that made go ahead & watch episode 1 sooner.

Even though it was after my latest work day and the day was almost over.

This show caught my attention so much that I got to episode 4 before getting in bed.

If it had been earlier, I possibly would have binge-watched this show in one day.

That is very rare for me to watch this many episodes of a TV show in one day like this.

I recommend going into this TV show blind, like I did.

Do not even watch the trailers or any reviews first.

Even though, the main character is not very relatable or likable.

Her negative traits helped her in some ways.

This TV show has a creative spin on this genre.

I definitely recommend watching it.

It is one of my favorite TV shows of this year so far.

I would rate it a 4 – 5 out of 5.

I almost gave it a 3.5 out of 5 because I do not like how the last 3 episodes slowed down too much.

In a way that felt like they were wasting time on purpose for another season or two.

While I was not a fan of the last three episodes.

I still would recommend watching Pluribus Season 1.

Into the Dark Season One Reviews:

My Thoughts

I discovered Into The Dark Season 1 through a random comment.

I saw the comment on a streaming video website.

No one I follow or know ever mentioned this show before.

I am glad that I saw that random comment.

This show was better than The Twilight Zone (2019), Black Mirror (Season 5), and most of Channel Zero.

It is a shame that this show is not known by most people.

I guess it was not marketed very well.

If you get a chance, please watch this show.

At least watch my favorite episode and maybe a few others.

It deserves to be more well known.

Some episodes could have been better.

Even though males / men were often portrayed as the villains.

Each episode is essentially its own movie.

Each episode draws inspiration from a different holiday, which is a cool concept in my opinion.

I will list some of my thoughts for each episode.

The Body

This episode was a nice start to the season that was better than I had expected.

Into the Dark: The Body Trailer (Official) | Hulu:

Flesh & Blood

The main actress did a good job portraying her mental disorder.

I was surprised how this episode managed to keep things watchable even with a longer run-time.

Into the Dark: Flesh and Blood Trailer (Official) | Hulu:

Pooka!

This episode was weird and had more potential.

But, it was disappointing and confusing.

It was one of my least favorite.

Into the Dark: Pooka! Trailer (Official) | Hulu:

New Year, New You

The episode started boringly.

It made me wonder where they were going with it.

Yet, things picked up at the end as they escalated.

It ended in a way that made you think about how you feel about the main character.

Into the Dark: New Year, New You Trailer (Official) | Hulu:

Down

This episode had me wondering where they were going with this.

I also wondered how they were going to fill the rest of the time.

At some point, the episode started to escalate after a twist.

Into the Dark: Down Trailer (Official) | Hulu:

Treehouse

This episode had me wondering where they were going with it.

It did a good job tricking the audience.

Nonetheless, the episode had some flaws.

It did not live up to its full potential.

Into the Dark: Treehouse Trailer (Official) | Hulu:

I’m Just F*cking With You

This episode had me wondering what would happen.

Some twists occurred, and things escalated.

It ended in a way that was unexpected but complemented the mood and theme of the episode.

It also made me wonder.

All That We Destroy

This episode surprised me.

It was more Black Mirror-like than Black Mirror (Season 5).

I liked the science fiction of this episode.

It featured some interesting futuristic technology.

This technology was blended nicely with the world in a way where it did not stand out too much.

This was one of my favorite episodes.

It was probably my favorite episode.

In my opinion, it was good enough to be released as its own movie online.

Into the Dark: All That We Destroy – Trailer (Official) | Hulu:

They Come Knocking

This episode was possibly the first of only two episodes to contain something paranormal or supernatural.

There were some aspects that I liked about it.

Nonetheless, it was a bit disappointing.

Into the Dark: They Come Knocking – Trailer (Official) | Hulu:

Culture Shock

This episode reminded me of something from the video game series Fallout.

It joined with one or more other things that I can not specify.

The episode clearly had a message.

Spanish and English were used in this episode, making it bilingual.

Into the Dark: Culture Shock – Trailer (Official) | Hulu:

School Spirit

This episode had me trying to guess what would happen.

Yet, I was able to narrow things down too early.

It was like the episode New Year, New You in the way that it ended.

This episode could have been better.

Into the Dark: School Spirit – Trailer (Official) | Hulu:

Pure

This episode started out trying to make you feel a bit unsettled.

It felt like something was not right.

At first, even the main character looked strange.

That, mixed with the environment and the situation, created its own atmosphere.

In my opinion, this episode seemed to bring together a common theme throughout most of this season.

Males / men were often portrayed as the villains.

This episode took it to the max.

It ends, implying that something major is going to happen.

A certain group is likely on the chopping block.

The 2020 Netflix American thriller web television show Messiah Season 1.

Messiah | Season 1 Official Trailer | Netflix:

Messiah (2020) Netflix Series Review:

My Thoughts

The trailer for Messiah Season 1 looked interesting. The concept reminded me of the TV show Homeland.

So, my brother GC and I decided to give this show a chance.

This show did a good job with mystery and suspense. The twists kept me watching.

I kept wondering what would happen next.

This was like a thriller suspense mystery with a twist. It managed to make interrogations and talking scenes tense.

This kept you focused on them.

This show was almost as good as seasons 1 and 2 of Homeland, so I liked it.

I am curious if they will make another season. If they do, I look forward to watching it.

It was good to start that year with a pretty good TV show.

I wanna spectate the drama and all the hubub. How does anyone allow something as garish and kitsch like this movie get to them?

A film from an age gone by... but...

⭐ As a technical milestone

Many film historians describe it as one of the most important early works in cinema because it:
  • Pioneered large‑scale feature filmmaking
  • Introduced innovations like close‑ups, fade‑outs, and massive battle scenes with hundreds of extras
  • Became the first American 12‑reel feature and the first film screened inside the White House
  • Was the most artistically advanced and profitable film of its era
This is why it’s often called a landmark in film history.
