Two classics!
Fargo (1996)
Then next:
No country For Old Men
I would also recommend A Serious Man (2009), another Joel and Ethan Coen classic.

Thanks, will put that on my watch listI would also recommend A Serious Man (2009), another Joel and Ethan Coen classic.
Terry Gilliam’s movie is a classic and definitely worth watching, but the series takes that initial concept and expands it with a much richer narrative. The episodic format gives room for the characters to grow, for the time paradoxes to become even more tangled, and for the story to explore nuances that a two-hour film can only hint at. In a way, the movie is the seed and the series is the full-grown tree: same root, but with branches stretching out in surprising directions. Hopefully you’ll get the chance to watch the series soon. So, the film 12 Monkeys available to free stream on BBC iPlayer which I've seen years ago but the series based on the film concept. Maybe I should watch the film again at the weekend as the series still not currently free to stream here in UK
