I used to love Eset when people were referring to it as Nod 32, it was a great player in 2006-07, and I had a license in those years. Afterwards somewhat it stopped having stellar results in tests and I had a couple of instances where I thought it let something in my system...

I'm the kind of user who would restore an image by merely suspecting an hypothetical breach, and psychologically the damage was done... I switched to something else, but if I had to switch again from my current choice I would probably pick Eset as I think that all in all it's a great choice.

I have been using computers since 1995 starting with Windows 3.1 but the only antivirus programs I have used were McAfee, Norton, avast! and then NOD32.

All I can say is that I feel very comfortable using NOD32 and I cannot at this time imagine going to anything else.

It is one AV i have never used other than ESET online scanner which seems quite good.

I pay about $5.00 per license so it is NOT expensive to me.

I shop at Newegg and it is on sale a lot.

BUT- you must subscribe to their emails. That's where the bargains are advertised.
