Windows 10 Mail for me, much simpler, practical, it also syncs Contacts and Calendar. Thunderbird will only sync emails, because it doesn't support Microsoft Exchange, only IMAP and Pop.
Honestly, just use the web Outlook.com, it's better than both and won't take space on your SSD.

I use bundled O365 Outlook just for reading my uni emails nor sending messages, I prefer to use the browser for anything else.

I test Windows internal Mail app again and it's just to restricted.
Aliase not possible which is a No-Go for me.

It's sad. I want use the (AppContainer) App, but not that minimalistic
