It's gone for good. It's not going to come back :mad: even in a paid version unless it's bought by Tencent, Qihoo or Alibaba.

Obviously, the Chinese Government :cry: stepped in and told them to cease operations. You can't really offer industry leading technology to the western countries if you're a Chinese company :unsure:. Before anyone goes 'what about TikTok' that is different it's social media and they get to collect all that juicy data for future operations/campaigns.

FUD but we'll take a look-see at any credible receipts you can provide.

TikTok is hardly industry leading technology, but it sure does make the kids more weird and crazy by the day.

Who would want to buy industry leading technology from any company located in a land where the government can coerce that company to do anything. (You just posted that the CCP stepped-in and forced a company to do something it did not want to do.)

Seems rather common sense not to buy technology from a country where the government has a long-standing history of using companies to hack other companies and countries.

Edit: The government and "the people" are two different things - for the most part - except for the bootlickers.

If you can't read in-between the lines and make logical conclusions to what has gone on that's your business.
"Read between the lines." Hmmm. Let me see. That is just code words for FUD. Something that conspiracy theorists spread without any evidence.

Remember what the Q-Anoners say...

Will this get the new malware and viruses in the coming weeks ? and is it updating still? Thks
No. Don't use it. Why you would want updates from a company that doesn't exist anymore is a big question. The chances of something bad happening increase with time. It still may work but how can you trust it?

Indeed, how can anyone trust it. Regardless of @cruelsister's constant praise. ;)

Due to the nature of the programme where static analysis is used and not old-time signatures, detection will be fine for a while. But the lack of improvements will inevitably become evident soon. In an ocean of free and paid AVs/tools, there is no need to use discontinued software.

Aliens? :alien::alien::alien:

They are probably still in the naughty corner for offering strong protection to foreigners.
Yeah, don't expect WiseVector to be in that corner too. They are gone with the wind and I'm presuming with the money they made by selling data left and right, extracted from "testers" who thought WV "was the best".
When they spend that "monies" they will come back with a similar program and stunt, and people will be all over them again.

Could very well be. They'd be disappointed with my data. My online activity would bore them to tears, and I keep absolutely nothing of any value on the computer. Anything that could be of any value is on an external.
