An alternate to MFC UI would be Qt (which Malwarebytes use), or Sciter (which Avast, ESET, Symantec, Comodo and some other vendors use).

Sciter is a bit difference in the sense that you will design the UI in HTML/CSS, and then you link it up to the native code. It can be tricky to get used to but it is a nice framework for UI development, although the free version has some disadvantages.
Thank you for your suggestion!
But I' m re-writing UI using WPF;)

Hi @xywcloud

Any Infos available when will you add your scan engines to virustotal, virscan.org, metascan, opswat and herdprotect

With best Regards
Mops21
At present, we don't have any plans about this.
And, it's not easy to join online-scan service.
Most of the time, it will need lots of money.:)
Thank you for your attention!

I'd suggest against WPF as this will add an additional requirement for .NET and also WPF tends to be a bit heavy on system resources. Why not wxWidgets? or as suggested Qt (free opensource) can be a very good alternative too.
Hi Bleak,
About 3 years ago, X-Sec Antivirus had a GUI version which use Qt(but at that time X-Sec Antivirus wasn't public), but it has a very serious problem(I searched for solution for the whole week but found nothing useful), and it also need to embed Qt library which is also very large.
So I have to give it up.
Now I' m re-writing UI with WPF, it' s much easier than MFC, and it also provide lots of features for easier development.

Yes, I have to admit that's an issue with their LGPL license when using their opensource framework, although you can workaround that if you use an installer (like InnoSetup) which will usually compress a good percentage of your package, alternatively you may take a look at wxWidgets.

Suggestion: if your decision is on using WPF, I think it's better to not ship it right away but alternatively send to some people who are willing to test it first. (I can test it for you too :)).

The first version of new GUI will be released as beta version first, you can just join the beta test.
