Removed: Comodo firewall. Reason: I just don't like all the comodo fanboys and I feel using the product just feeds their need for self worth. Anyway using Windows firewall with advanced security. Might be switching to a full Microsoft setup today :)

And you just installed CIS days ago. haha
I respect your decision. Bitdefender has a great AV but needs to work on its Internet Security Suite.
As for me, I'll stick with Comodo Firewall, and plan to switch its AV to Avast, because...
ONE, since I can't get access to extended trials (giveaways) on the paid ones.
TWO, Avast is as effective as ESET, based on AV tests
THREE, I was a fan years ago. =P

ZeroDay, I heard that BD and CFW had some incompatibility. So, what should I do to make BitDefender and Comodo firewall co-exist?

Hi King Mellow,

I haven't got any incompatibility issues, they were running smooth together here :)

Just to add that I no longer use Comodo Firewall, I use windows firewall now but I didn't have any compatibility issues whilst using the two.

HAHA. I'm here again with yet another change! reinstalled Comodo firewall.
I actually reinstalled this earlier but only just updated here.

I can predict the future. ZeroDay will remove Comodo firewall tomorrow. :p

Haha. You could be right McLovin. I'm way... too indecisive.

Well Comodo Firewall is not only a basic firewall.
It actually has more features for protection (HIPS, BB, sandbox, cloud AV) and I'm sure you are aware of it.
If you like to have more control of your system, I suggest sticking to Comodo Firewall with your Bitdefender AV+

But if you feel secure with Bitdefender AV only with default firewall and that you prefer "silent security", this option is for you.

Anyways, continue to experiment with other security configs and see what fits you. =)

This is quickly becoming the longest threat on MT LOL.

Restored an image & reinstalled the full CIS suite.

Bitdefender antivirus plus was slowing my browsing down, So I've just gone back to the full CIS suite whilst I consider my next move.

Sorry to hear that. It's a shame really. If only they would fix this issue, cause
right now there is no way I could recommend BD to anyone.

Wow, even on it's AV+ suite. I respect BD for its outstanding performance in detection rate, but its reliability is very low. Only if they fixed the bugs, I would continue to use it.

Nice, have you any screenshots? What do the options/settings UI look like? Any performance issues? And finally, what's it like running on Windows 8?
