New Update A new Chrome clone: Helium

I've not tried it yet but no password manager for me is great as I only disable it anyway & no sync to is good for me, the less the better IMO, as its alpha its not for me yet though, mainly because of personal time constraints at the moment as I'll usually try new things :)

Some had concerns regarding the Russian nationality of one of the two developers of Helium, but he responded "I don’t support the Russian government, so we intentionally made it difficult for the government to get to my real identity."

I have now ( Just 10 mins later) because I can't help myself installed Helium & for me its pretty much perfect, the only thing missing for me is the ability to delete all history on exit, this is still a pretty snappy PC but I've noticed how hast this browser responds, the GUI is fine, as before lack of options is an advantage, I'm going to contact the guys running the project regarding history but it seems again to me much as I would make a browser, as you can delete history pretty easy anyway & it looks like Hi-Bit does it too, likely to remain on PC, I've given it an Edge icon to fool those who use this pc :p:p

Tried the "bangs"?

Clear history on close is an option i would like to see...
I was using it in Edge, then stopped; I keep history in case of browser crash to go easily back to the websites I was browsing.
I enable only clearing cookies on exit, except for websites I want to keep my log in, to avoid tracking.

I don't think as I remember you can clear anything on exit with Helium ...???
Did not use before; just wanted to inform my fellow members about the newly released browser after reading several feedback posts regarding on Reddit.
My first choice is Chrome and Edge.
Then for the sake of adventures, I may try Yandex or Vivaldi.

I feel like that browser will never reach its stable version.
I like the concept of Helium; it's bare-boned chromium (simplicity is one of the main reasons for preferring Chrome); just need auto-update, even vertical tabs is not essential for me.
I've tried my hardest to get into vertical tabs and just can't stick to it. I also don't keep 400+ tabs open like some people like to flex.

I do like Vivaldi for the sake of customization and features and it's significantly faster than a few years ago. Also respect the fact that they're not forcing any AI into the browser.

It's for those who like adventures, beta testers, Linux users, not day-to-day use.

Using Vivaldi currently, it has its share of bugs but is improving slowly.
I keep Chrome installed as a backup.
