The beta version of the browser you're using doesn't use uBo, which was developed by Gorhill.
It's a fork:

GitHub - imputnet/uBlock

It's impossible to say without checking the manifest whether there might be any “hidden surprises,” but at the very least, a quick check of the extension's permissions would be advisable.
looks fine

I really like the concept behind Helium, but I'm concerned that a team of only two developers might struggle to keep up with critical maintenance. Can they realistically handle timely security patches, bug fixes, and Chromium updates with such a small workforce?

I'm trying Helium; it seems to work well, but I noticed the scrollbar doesn't appear on websites and extensions, and it uses approx. 1.2–1.5 GB of memory.
Hi,:)
i have a technical question.
In the Speedometer 3.1 test, ChatGPT runs slower on Helium than on Chrome.

I’d be interested in seeing the difference between Helium + a fork of uBlock Origin and Edge + uBlock Origin (obviously with the same settings and rules).

Could you check this out?

P.S.

Unfortunately, I've identified over 400 open issues, change requests, and feature requests on GitHub..................
