Advice Request Best Adblocker in 2016?

I've seen so many between the webstores and my favorite would be AdGuard. Nice design, block all kinds of ads, and got a whitelist too. Big plus.
But i use AdBlocker Ultimate for Firefox, works fine aswell, but not a 5 star add-on.

Tell me your opinion.

I use ABP in firefox. A little heavy on the resources but worth it IMO. Absolutely love the 'open blockable items'. It lets me review my filters & see what else i can block on a site.

The desktop version of Adguard is the best adblocker I've ever come across.
Instead of being limited to the browser, it blocks ads system-wide, is light on resources, you can customise a lot of things in it, you can install extensions (which can make it work like Tampermonkey as well as an adblocker), and it has a lot of good filters to choose from.

I use uBlock Origin in Cyberfox and DSlimjet and have not seen an add for years except my whitelisted sites. And if you take a peek at @Logethica config you can find a good list of additional filters to choose from.

I'm using uBlock Origin since it was available on Firefox, works amazing, low memory usage, you can add custom filters if you want.

I use uBlock Origin poniwarz is light on system resources, does not slow down browsing websites and get the job done well and has a wide selection of filters.

I voted for AdGuard - It has system wide ad-blocking, parental control, stealth mode and other awesome features. AdGuard covers all the browsers unlike the in-browser ad-blockers which only cover a specific browser.

Many of the Ad Blocker extension software often utilise the same block lists, but the resource usages of said extension may vary per browser, per system. A better way to protect your browsing is to use Content Blockers that block more than Ads, including Tracking Scripts and more.

uBlock / Origin is a Content Blocker which includes Ad-Blocking.

My Vote: Aguard, because of system wide ad-blocking and not just browsers.

Definitely uBlock for me, the ability to add and remove filters is a plus point. And also the fact that now ABP has begun showing some ads again without opt-out settings.

uBlock origin with anti-adblock killer script for me and ghostery is tracker blocker not ad blocker...

First choice: Adguard (desktop version)
Second choice: uBlock Origin

I choose Adguard as the best adblocker in 2016.
But whenever I uninstall Adguard for whatever reason, the only adblocker I install is uBlock Origin (usually along with uMatrix).

Adguard(desktop) is by far the best I have ever used for the same reasons as others have said.
Adguard for Mobile is also the best.The only option,IMO, for a non-rooted phone and still the best option for a rooted phone.

I would highly recommended uBlock Origin if one is not using Adguard

Adguard by far for me. never had a problem with it and it blocks realy good. my mother does not like programs so i need ublock origin for she. adguard or oblock origin all the way. by the way, if anyone have a lifetime license for adguard to give away, i am more than happy to get it. Mine is just tu run out in one month

Hello, I vote Ublock and I complement it with Emsisosft with stevenblack's hosts in github: https://github.com/StevenBlack/hosts

This means a great performance and block ads also on the entire OS, I'm trying Emsisoft and surely I'll set it on all pc's at home is a great AV so far.
