I cant see it after going into windows tasks ive attached it

ok before doing what i whote above , try to do that

Start Menu => Programs => Accessories => right click on "command prompt" => "run as administrator"

in the black windows type (or paste)

net stop wuauserv (then [enter])

ren %windir%\Softwaredistribution %Windir%\SoftwareDistribution.bak (then [enter])

net start wuauserv (then [enter])

close the command prompt , reboot your machine and try again your updates

when I enter this

ren %windir%\Softwaredistribution %Windir%\SoftwareDistribution.bak (then [enter])

net start wuauserv

it says

the syntax of the command is incorrect

yes im just entering this

then it comes up with

ok you'll have to rename manually

keep the command prompt opened.

start Menu => my computer => Disk C: => Windows

rename the "SoftwareDistribution" folder by "SoftwareDistribution.bak"

and then when it's OK return to the command prompt and :

net start wuauserv

then [enter]

is it ok ?

What's that ????

when you stop he says it's not in fonction and when you start , it's already started .???????

Yes I know whats that all about?

I did enter it twice by mistake after changing the folder name so I guess it had started then I entered net start wuauserv

again
