I am trying out Drive Vaccine on my old vaio desktop with Win XP and every time I reboot or shut down I get a BSOD a second before it restarts or it shuts down. The only security I have is unchecky and the latest version of CIS. I tried disabling all of CIS but that doesn't help.

It seems like a driver conflict (classpnp.sys) assuming that DV is fully compatible with XP, it is not enough to disable CIS because of the background processes.
You should restart in safe mode (f8 at boot ) and try to uninstall CIS if it is possibile.

I was thinking Comodo could be the culprit but wasn't sure. DV is trusted in CIS, so what would be causing the bluescreen if it is CIS?

Better check with HDS to see if current DV RX driver is XP compatible.

Drive Vaccine driver does not work due to newly introduced W10 AU driver signing restrictions.
You have to revert system to state prior to W10 AU and disable Windows Update
OR
Keep W10 AU and completely disable Secure Boot
Disabling Secure Boot is a jackass move; it is more secure to revert system to pre-AU...

I installed DV after CIS but yea everything worked fine before DV was installed

If everything worked before the DV installation, then the problem seems to be the incompatibility.
Try to restart in safe mode and uninstall DV and see if you solve.

All you have to do is submit the system created memory.dmp or mini.dmp to HDS and they will figure out what happened using the symbol files.
Otherwise you can spend many hours - even days - trying to do\find a workaround.
The support ticket will be done within 4 or 5 days - because of the long, holiday weekend.
If you have old hardware, that can be a contributor as well.

If you activate a license it is tied to the system hardware - at least that is the way it used to be.

Yes he does, and if you have recently replaced a piece of hardware that has altered your MAC, then it may render the software broken as well. (Could)

You have to check with HDS about how their current licensing model is working... but from what I remember, HDS has always been die-hard insistent that RX product licenses are for one single system only.

Will revo completely get rid of CIS or should I just go to add and remove to uninstall? it's been awhile since I uninstalled comodo
