Ram usage is a bit high compared to ver 8, but it is a beta version so can't say anything what would be in the final product.

This has been a problem in past Beta Versions which is usually fixed on final release.
Yeah that's why i stated that its a beta version, we just can't comment on this now.
GUI is pretty smooth but there are something which i am not liking a bit in GUI

Even this time they did not added task killer in process monitor of ESET.

Really i am habitat of the older UI, now i am having an hard time in using the Advanced Settings of this new GUI.

RAM usage isn't a problem for me. What's the system responsiveness? Any internet slowdowns?
Thanks.

This seems important it was posted by a wilders member name Itman.
Bad news since the SSL protocol scanning option has major issues with it in the testing I did. See my comments in the Kapersky Freak Vulnerabilty thread. Also see this posting over at the Eset forum: https://forum.eset.com/topic/4935-livegrid-protocol-filtering-and-https-scanning/ . Eset also doesn't appear to want to address those issues either.

If they just disallowed scanning of web sites with EV certs. that would at least make the feature usable.

-EDIT- One easy to implement suggestion I made to Eset was to allow for easy disabling of SSL protocol scanning via a setting on the Eset desktop toolbar icon. Eset appears to be ignoring the fact that SSL protocol scanning is illegal in many European countries and also in the U.S. on healthcare web sites covered under HIPAA legislation.

I think there is a bug in Parental control. After i enable it , sites won't load, some sites keep loading & sometimes ESET parental control gives warning that site r blocked but it doesn't show which filter blocked it ( ex porn/gambling ). Even i untick or tick categories, any site won't load & only google search will work. This is very annoying.

I guess i didn't but i send them feedback. Here i found another bug & it's annoy me too.

I found another bug. When i did a context menu scan of my seagate 1 TB external HD, it first scanning process was good , found a pup application ( means it found s a threat ) but after some minutes it shows " threats found 0 ", also no running of scan process when i click on more info & it shows me 45:49 scanning time which is wrong coz i just run it 5-7 minutes ago. It happens earlier in morning but after unplugging my HD & click on cancel make the scan process stop & after that i scan it 2 time & no problem. but now the problem arise again plus even unplugging my HD or clicking cancel scan, it won't cancel & sadly i need to restart my PC. Also i update my ESET always before scan. And tell them ESET icon in notification area shows no active scan but in GUI it shows scanning in progress.

Also dunno why slimjet current open tab feel slow & lag during ESET scan but firefox works fine.

Yep. I'm back to ESET 8. I've tested Bitdefender IS 5 too, and really has a high ram usage (250Mb!!), but curiously it's far faster and lighter when browsing than ESET 9....
