I am trying Eset_smart_security_premium, and the first thing that surprised me was that Eset would delete Wise Care 365 and Do Your Data Recovery. This has never happened with any of the other antivirus programs I have testet, and not with NPE and KVRT. But When I tested it with VirusTotal, Eset was the only one it saw Wise Care 365 as a virus, and Do Your Data Recovery there was 2 other:unsure:
It's being detecting as a PUP, not as malware. ESET has fairly aggressive PUP detection, which means it will often classify apps as PUPs that other antiviruses don't. It's important to note that PUPs are not malicious, they are just apps that for some people won't be of much use, which is why they are classified as being potentially unwanted. If you find both of those apps to be useful, then it's fine to keep using them.

ESET does give you the option to ignore certain PUPs, or turn off PUP detection altogether, as detailed in the following link.

I found this:

False Positive Detected for WiseCare365 - ESET Security Forum

Eset on Virus Total: A Variant Of Win32/WiseCleaner.E Potentia
The problem is that apps like Wise Care 365, very often get classified as PUPs. As a result, AV vendors often won't remove PUP detections when vendors ask them too. But as I mentioned in my last post, a PUP detection does not indicate an app is malicious, so it doesn't matter too much.

Thanks for the reply. I was just confused that ESS has a sandbox and EIS does not. Is there a big difference?

I would advise to take the ESSP version. Below is a picture of how Live Guard works. The thing is definitely useful for 0day, considering that Eset doesn't have a powerful behavior analyzer.

My recommendation get a version with liveguard or settle with some free av like bitdefender free , Kaspersky free , avast, defender (WindowsHybridHardening,Harden Windows Security), Symantec , comodo etc

Eset is always a good option. I have been using it on several computers for years and I have never had any problems. If any problems arise, they always advise you on the Eset forum. Regards.
I'm tired of something slowing down my computer. That's why I switched to this. I used Nod32 a long time ago. I know the product. But now I finally bought again. I am careful and not irresponsible. I won't have virus problems with it. The Eset products are respectable craftsmanship.
