Yes it does although depends how low end your PC isI don't know what changed with Kaspersky, but after version 21.19 it started to work not as fast as it used to. ESET definitely wins in speed.
For me too and I have 15 computers in my company. ESET always gets faster in everything.General computer use, slowed internet browsing, file transfers, and the program itself slowing down.
It's not that bad, i7, 12GB RAM, 1TB SSD. But when you use a PC every day, you notice that something has changed.Yes it does although depends how low end your PC is
As for example hdd, 2gb and less would be a no go for any av software even eset
I'm also using ESET Internet Security 18.0.12.0 but no folder guard option present. Finally folder protection like all the competitors! Maybe we will live to see the HIPS update to version 20 (I write this with love for Eset)
Folder guard only in premium and ultimate versions.I'm also using ESET Internet Security 18.0.12.0 but no folder guard option present.
Ohh. ThanksFolder guard only in premium and ultimate versions.
I confess that I NEVER had any problems with ESET when I used it (I used it for more than 5 years in a row).ESET stil buggy like hell. Just did a reinstall of my Windows 11, everytime when starting the laptop, the keyboard is not working ,this happend since i installed ESET Smart Sec. Premium.
Before this with Trend Micro no issues at all. So bye bye ESET and welcome back TM ! And i see that Marcos is still at the ESET forum, thats someone i really dislike, mister know it all.
Dozens of devices with ESET over the course of three years, and I’ve never encountered a single bug... Personal experience is personal experience. In my opinion, ESET is MUCH more stable than Kaspersky, Norton, and other major players. As for TM, I don’t know much about it, I just don’t like its simplicity.ESET stil buggy like hell. You guys use Enterprise LTSC Windows 11 ? Since the install of Eset this issue.
Yes, its great but ESET dont like it, back to TM.If you mean LTSC 2024, I ran away from it because I couldn't get Avast VPN working even in two virtual machines (and on real hardware). It was too glitchy. I only plan to go back to 24h2 (and LTSC 2024) in a couple months.
Must be Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC , and with me ESET is always under a magnifying glass, basically i dont like the company at all, since i got the license for free, why dont give it a (short) try. With so many reports, I believe the problem is the user
That is exactly what Marcos always thinks. With so many reports, I believe the problem is the user
