Probably a question that has been answered before- but if F-Secure is using Avira signatures, does that means it has the same signatures as Norton 360 (which now owns Avira) ?

This is an old thread. I haven't seen Norton switch to Avira yet, have they?

But no, only partially even if that is the case. Avira is one of 4 or 5 engines in F-Secure. F-Secure has additional engines they combine with Avira, plus the DeepGuard behavior blocker that is only in their product.
