Is 19.7 ready or not?
Now what happened to 19.7? There was an article posted about what was in 19.7. Now it is no longer out there. Why? Was it wrong or is it not ready yet?

It looks like they broke it up into a couple of other posts, but not all of the information you show in your image. I asked this as well as another question in a PM to the forum community manager. When I find out more, I'll post back.

And has 19.7 been officially released?
Just because it's quiet here on the forum. It will be announced another time when it is released.

No, it hasn't been released yet. The reply I got back really didn't explain what happed to the post that you had the image of, only that all the betas and release notes are now in one thread.
Either Lord Ami or I will post when the v19.7 public release version is officially out.

Do you know the reason for the delay? There is a lot of silence about 19.7 and this is not usual. It's as if it has stopped.
I know you two are used to signalling when there is a change.

F-Secure user from Germany, just manually click 'check for updates' and the new stable version 19.7 installation was quickly done 👍
As with Oldie 1950, I just did the manual update to install 19.7. It may take them a day or two to post the changelog, though.

And just to follow-up with @Lord Ami's reply, the betas are usually out for about 2 months, sometimes a week or two longer before being publicly released. So since the time of 19.6 release until today, it has been right on schedule timewise, about 2 months (if you follow the changelog thread).

I'm not sure myself.

Anyhow, here's the changelog:

Version 19.7

Released October 2024

New look and feel

  • The Privacy VPN feature in the main user interface has been updated with our new and improved design.
  • The Settings user interface has also been refreshed to align with the new style.

Windows on ARM64 Support

  • This version can now be installed on devices running the Windows on ARM64 operating system, providing expanded compatibility for ARM-based hardware.
  • VPN is not yet supported on ARM64, but support will come in future versions.
Removed features
  • No More 32-bit Windows Support
    • As of version 19.7, the app cannot be installed on 32-bit Windows, and versions 19.6 and older stop receiving upgrades on 32-bit Windows.
    • This change reflects a move away from older platforms, as 32-bit Windows is no longer supported.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to post an image, as it sounds like most of the cosmetic changes were done with the VPN and its settings.
Even though I have a license for Total, I only have Internet Security + Password Vault (add on purchase) installed, as F-Secure's VPN is lacking in so many ways. The stand alone app, Freedome, was much better, from what I've read on the forum.

Otherwise, the general UI and the rest of the modules, look pretty much the same :)

Thank you very much for your answer. Then you wrote the point. I don't currently use F-Secure, that's why I wanted it.
