Advice Request How many times a day you shut down your PC?

Restart or Shut down can help stop an attack, error fix, performance increase, valid not only for PC, but also for Router, Phone, TV.
...so , when not in use or when needed.

So, you turn off your modem as well? Does this help also on Fiber Optic modem?

I put my laptop in sleep mode daily and once a week i restart the laptop as nowadays Windows shutdown is not really shutdown. Explained here:

what is most affected (CPU,HDD,SSD etc.) by shutdown,restarting a PC multiple times?

When booting the pc, there is a burden on the PSU and HDD. cpu and ssd are not so affected.
Regarding ssd, it seems that there is a phenomenon that data evaporates if the state of not energizing continues.

The reason why Windows update has become a specification that restarts without permission even if it is left alone as needed

I think sleep is more convenient for laptops, considering that they can be carried around and used at any time.
I often notice that the battery is low when I try to use it.

Turn it on in the morning, sleep during the day, and off at night (full power off, not hibernation). It is my experience that Windows devices absolutely benefit from being turned off at night.

I just shut down my desk top at night at bedtime. I turned off the fast start up on my Windows 11 machine. Through the day it just sleeps when not in use.

I don't think too deeply. When not using for more than 1 hour, the power is often turned off. I think that it will affect the life of the power supply unit, but I think that it is a consumable item.

I agree with you. Despite my PC behind a UPS, I turn it off when not in use.
