I have a cheap 8th gen i3 laptop and it runs fine. Mostly all I do is surf. Hardly any programs, no important documents, etc,. Even resetting W11 isn’t bad. In fact, faster than W10, in my experience.

OTOH, my next laptop will have SSD when this one dies and goes to tech heaven.
