Solved It's been ten days since I reported a false positive to Kaspersky [Updated]

Yes, I'm using ublock origin and most filters are checked.
Kaspersky unblocked thedaddy(dot)dad and dlhd(dot)click, but still continues to block the embedded TV streams on the website.

Kaspersky is not blocking the website here. It's blocking a script that is embedded in the php/html file. It has multiple scripts in it. So, submitting the website is unlikely to do anything. They also won't remove the script detection since it's not a false positive. It's detected by other products also like ESET, Bitdefender, Dr.Web.

Can't imagine browsing the internet without an ad blocker. It's pure masochism.

edit: I forgot to mention that I reported the site to Microsoft, and now SmartScreen no longer blocks it.

@lostpass, The screenshots you provided show "legit software..." alerts. The "legit software that can be used..." setting is, if my memory serves me correctly, disabled by default in the K interface and Web Protection's advanced settings because it may produce false positives. Did you change the "legit software..." settings, or does K enable them by default now?

@lostpass If you are accessing pirated streaming sites, then you are asking for trouble. The only way to prevent your AV from blocking this website is to use a script blocking extension such as NoScript. I would not recommend using the Windows platform to access this type of website. If you are going to access dubious, obscure websites, pirated streaming sites, or the deep web, I recommend Tails or a Linux distribution. Then, install uBO and be happy. If you still don't feel safe, and you are a paranoid user like me, install Firejail on your preferred Linux distro, open your browser through it, and enjoy yourself. I don't access any websites like this through Windows, so I have Tails on my USB stick and a Linux distro installed on a specific partition for this purpose.

I used to get those messages in Brave when I used it on my PC, I don't know what causes it. Chromium simple refused to open some websites while Firefox opened them without an issue. What's weird, I got this error on legit sites like YouTube or WhatsApp. Haven't seen it since I switched browsers.

Whenever I watched US TV channel, I was shocked to see how long the adverts last. And the weird ads they have there... lawyers advertising themselves and their services?

It has nothing to do with it (tested). That option tries to load website over HTTPS and if it can't, loads it over HTTP. I have it set to HTTPS-only as I have no interest visiting unsecured websites.

You should allow your ad blocker extension to work in private windows too.

Wise user. +1 I do the same here. We are in the 21st century, in the middle of 2025, not the 1990s. So it makes no sense to load an HTTP website without a secure connection.

If you accessed YouTube through HTTP, your ISP and anyone interested on the network can see what exactly video did you watch on YouTube. If you're using HTTPS, they can't see anything except that you visited youtube.com.
If you visit your Instagram profile through HTTP, anyone interested can see your username. If you're using HTTPS, they can only see instagram.com, nothing else.

This is why HTTPS is important. Not only it protects your data; it also makes unable to identify you, your online accounts and whatever you do on the website is hidden.

Partially, but I wouldn't rely on it. It only hides websites you visit from your ISP and anyone snooping on the network. It doesn't encrypt the traffic between you and the website.

I know, I just open private windows once per 10 years.
Anyway, I gave up and removed Kaspersky. Every time I appreciate how flawless Microsoft Defender is, especially after using another antivirus even for just a few days.
