Kaspersky is constantly improving and updating SW and Heur engine modules among others, but They not necessary come with the release of every new year version. And when released, all the different products supported get the new updates.

Also, They are not usually published, in the past there was also a public beta testing of SW and Heur engines, but They became private, so They do their internal tests...

all antiviruses do it, not just Kaspersky, as far as I'm concerned, I don't see improvements in protection independent of updates. There are still issues against some scripts, some data-wiping ransomware, and PUPs. Greetings.

The only thing I can't find is a trial of Kaspersky Premium, or am I missing something?

Hum, I never had a Premium licence, I guess this will be a variant of Plus licence, probably a KSCloud Family similar licence

There is still not much info about the migration / equivalence for the new versions

New versions can be installed over previous ones, is up to You :) See me previous post... Thanks. That's just the product page though. All downloads etc on the UK site still point to existing/old products.

The fact is that, even with the unofficial installer, the VPN is still limited to 500MB/day (at least when I tried the AU installer). But that's not a problem.

Whats happening with new Kaspersky 21.5? I don't see campaign anywhere in EU. Aren't coming the new verisons?

I did a clean installation of Windows 10 and when installing KIS from global Kaspersky website, it did install the 2021 version and not the 2022 with all the new UI.
Is there any reason for that?

There is no 2022 version I guess You mean K2021MR5 21.5... and for now no auto-update to it (just install overwriting over 21.3)... 21.6 is already ion RC status...
