Hello friends I bought a gaming laptop today. I want to install a light antivirus program. I have K7 ultimate and webroot security plus license. Which program do you recommend? Is there any other program you recommend?

Both K7 Ultimate and Webroot Security Plus are great choices. However, Webroot is known to be lighter on system resources, making it ideal for gaming laptops. Other lightweight options to consider are Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition and Avast Free Antivirus.
Light, like for a 16GB-RAM system, I would go with the built-in Windows Defender, used along with MalwareBytes browser guard and free scanners from different vendors including ESET and Sophos.
For a better detection rate and free, I would go with Avast, or Kaspersky if "not afraid of the FSB."

K7 ultimate best for lightweight + its gets you protected and it will not going to effect pc performance.
i have a 3 year norton key you can have it's essentialy avast free with paid VPN. You will just have to activate it using a London server from a VPN.
I assume a "gaming" laptop means it has lots of ram, if so it probably doesn't matter which AV you use. I wouldn't trust K7 or Webroot to provide superior protection.
I wouldn't use either of those two. My recommendation for light AVs are ESET and Kaspersky, if you don't mind the Russian connection.

Maybe the Moscow-loving Orange Idiot will reverse the ban on Kaspersky! In fact, I'm surprised he hasn't already! 
Even ESET does not provided superior protection, Only Kaspersky can give you that...!

K7 and Webroot are both very light, but K7 provides better protection and would be a better choice. ESET and Kaspersky, which have both been mentioned, are much better options. ESET is very light too and Kaspersky is pretty light these days too. Microsoft Defender is reasonably light, but the others often will have less system impact. However, since no doubt the PC has a fast CPU, Defender may not impact performance much.

Cool. I am not in a mood of arguments but this so called "Russian Garbage" protected my 23 years+ cyber field. Just because its "Russian" origin i can't ditched its capabilities and called it garbage. Peace.

Right now on a very old laptop I'm using McAfee and it doesn't slow anything down at all, so on a gaming PC it must be super lightweight.
McAfee is nice, but collects too much Data.
