Make your video test requests!

This was tested by @cruelsister in December of last year. As of yet, there's been no significant improvements. Hopefully one day it will be a good option, as it has one of the former developers of WiseVector working on, but for now it's not so good.

I'm using Bitdefender Internet Security but no performance issue. ( Core i3 2nd Gen PC with 8 GB DDR3 RAM )
Well, we tested it, it does indeed slow some file operations and app launches even after some time that its photon thing kicks it. It may not be perceivable by a normal user, but for us who wanted a solution for some of our employees and offices with many different systems, it was not good. We went for Eset and Kaspersky.
although I forgot to mention Trendmicro was good in some aspects like detection and a little of performance side but eset Kaspersky solutions were better. eset made good progress without a heavy behavior blocker they are detecting as well as many heavy solutions so when you have something like eset/Kaspersky you don't go for Bitdefender. I don't know how eset with this much of light software is doing it, we prefer a little less detection over the software being slow and making something slow. (in recent months eset is not that far from even Bitdefender in real-world)

Hi @Shadowra I'm not asking for you to test anything. But maybe just keep an eye out for some of the changes that are happening with the F-Secure 19.9 beta. Maybe in 4 months or so when the public release of v20 rolls out, it may be worth considering it for re-testing at that time?

Cheers :)

QuickHeal was tested a year ago, idk whether it has already received a new version (it used to require a fresh install anyway, and did never notify me about a new release)?
If there is time, this would be a interesting one, maybe with the BB maxed out, apart from that, there aren't a lot useful customizations, the firewall is a joke.
The BB does all the heavy lifting to my experience, the signatures have always been bad (plus only updating once a day, No idea whether there's cloud support, i guess no anyway). Also did i never notice their praised AI when it first came up in the home products.

@Shadowra . Could you go into more depth when writing summaries? I don't like videos. Videos take too much time to watch. Pause, rewind, replay a segment, reading the tiny text. If you think of the text as the Alternative to watching your videos. I am sure your audience will appreciate it.

It's already in place when I do the detailed summaries.
I don't do it when I make “safety pairs” but it will be generalized.

Cyberlock verses Appguard if possible, would be interesting( does the high cost really provide better protection, usability considered?
