Looking into Appguard but there is no trial and the price tag on it is pretty hefty.
If you want an AppGuard trial, download and install the 4th version. AppGuard 4 and 5 have no important differences right now. So, how the 4th version works is how the 5th version works. :)

After that, if you like AppGuard, you may upgrade to the 5th version, and pay. :)

Update:
Removed Zemana Antilogger, keeping it for on-demand only.
Trying Adguard desktop instead of UBlock origin.

Thinking of removing Hitman Pro Alert after how it failed with Wannacry and how bad Sophos Home is doing on malware tests.

Update:
Removed Adguard due to it randomly and frequently BSODing the netio.sys driver while browsing.
Ublock origin reinstated

Suspect any specific reason why (compatibility issues)?
I'm trying Adguard desktop for the first time and it's working well.

EDIT: This link describes possible causes and troubleshooting regarding BSODs and errors of netio.sys driver. I'm sure you looked about this.
Did you try sfc, driver troubleshooting using 'verifier' command..?

happens only when Adguard is installed, never had a netsysio BSOD before.
not planning to go deep into it when Adguard is doing the same job with more performance hit than Ublock Origin.
sites load slowly, Gmail needs a refresh to load, etc, it's such a useless program.

I think, that your computer hates you. :)
Installing and uninstalling security software = total system mess up.:(
I know it, because I had everything, that you tried (and many more), on my computers.
Please try (realtime security):
Windows Defender + AppGuard + Shadow Defender
Windows Defender + Anti-exe (NVT ERP, VoodooShield) + Shadow Defender
Kaspersky + Shadow Defender (if you do not like System Watcher).
Kaspersky + NVT ERP (if you like to know what is happening)

Consider some form of system backup software to easily restore your computer in case of a software malfunction or a malware infection.

I recommend Windows Backup and Restore for this task.

Alternatively, here are some good 3rd party backup applications:
OR

You're good to go as far as real-time protection software is concerned.

Thanks for sharing your config with us! :p
just because I see it hardly mentioned in all the posts, you could also take a look at CrashPlan as a backup solution. works good for me since years, has the option for hybrid backups (NAS, Cloud, other computer), can backup files on change (incl unlimited history for the files), unlimited cloud storage capacity and it is somehow quitte inexpensive.

A word about overkill setups - more, does not mean better.
Security suite (like Kaspersky) includes many security modules. It is very hard for a developer to make all modules work flawlessly, in constantly evolving Windows 10. Adding another security, always make this harder. So, even when overkill setup works for a year, it can easily hang your computer the day after. Furthermore, the new security may weaken your setup, because of silent conflicts. It is like fighting using 2 swords, when you are trained to use only one.
But, experimenting is so much fun.:)

I have Kaspersky and Shadow Defender together, they don't have an issue.
I do regular full system drive clone backups(with Macrium Reflect and AOMEI Backupper) on a separate removable HDD, and keep my PC clean from remnants with Revo uninstaller/Privazer/CCleaner so it isn't an issue.
I love testing software and looking for the ultimate combination :D

Shadow Defender is great if one wants to test many programs (it allows to logoff and logon again).:)

I'm paranoid of getting infected.
You can't avoid data collection, it's impossible, so i just don't fight it.
Will look into backups, I reinstall Windows every 3-4 months.

Thanks for sharing.. Good to know another well-known user's config like this..

But, why do you reinstall Windows periodically? Don't you feel inconvenience with that?

If it's not necessary to reinstall, I don't do it, especially now that I have backups.

Removed:
Kaspersky Internet Security 2018

Added:
GData Internet Security

Sadly Kaspersky throttles my new 1GBit line down to 200MBit, so I had to get rid of it. I hope GData lives up to its predecessor.
