Dedicated GPU is not needed. I don't have a dedicated GPU. If you have a supported Nvidia/AMD card then it will use their super resolution feature and will show more fine-tuning options in settings, if not then it uses MS's own ML based video enhancing algorithm like it does on mine. I do not notice any extra CPU/GPU usage with it. Other Stylus userscript based alternative mimicking Opera's Lucid mode is more resource hungry. Not much but more than what Edge use by default or with Enhance Video turned on.

Feature requires a capable GPU.

I think the flag was created for the actual super resolution feature that indeed requires capable GPU's. But for whatever reason, MS have now even attached the basic Enhanced video feature with this flag

Now this setting is back. Maybe because I enabled the flag.

I have to agree on this, but most MS documentation is sketchy and /or hard to find.

I had an annoying sign in pompt in the form of a red oval line around the profile icon, even though I'm using a standard user account. To remove it, use the BrowserSignin policy in Edge Policies.

To disable signin on Edge for all users use the following regedit paths:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Edge   dword = 0
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge  dword = 0

I used repair option in settings and deleted all browser policies to check. Still broken. Can't open in new tab, new window or new private window.

I should have been clear. The problem is with the right-click context menu in the favorites icon drop down.
