You can also enable site strict isolation feature if you want to, just search ' isolation '
Strict Site Isolation should already be enabled in Brave by default as explained here:
Site isolation is enabled by default on desktop platforms regardless of how this flag is set; see chrome://process-internals for whether it is currently enabled. Setting this flag to 'Enabled' turns on site isolation regardless of the default. Here, 'Disabled' is a legacy value that actually means 'Default,' in which case site isolation may be already enabled based on platform, enterprise policy, or field trial.

I'm positively surprised by the development of Brave: chrome store, Tor implementation, privacy/security builtin extension, etc...
I remember when i tried the very early version, it has almost nothing lol.
Yeah, I thought the Muon-based version was absolute garbage. Full of bugs and almost no features. Ironically, a lot of people say they're abandoning the browser because of the transition to Chromium due to its Google links.

The non-removable Rewards button bugs me a little, but it's the lack of Sync that's stopping me from switching to Brave.
When these two issues are fixed, I'll give it a more serious try.

Where brave is different from google for me is :
- nothing to do with google
- fingerprint protection is better than in extensions
- can use tor if you want to visit specific sites with ''increased'' privacy . Post on some forums as example

If they can integrate adblock to use all filterlists available, instead of adblock plus syntax i would prefer brave over chrome

Avast browser has ability to manually add filterlists you want to

Also i dont know is this just stupidy of mine, but when you enable script blocking and want to save it on specific sites/ permanently block domain you cant do it. It just blocks it temporary until you restart browser/ remove history

It feels like beta browser still, but it has improved ALOT from what it used to be

I've been using Brave Beta for a few months. Other than update issues very early on, no problems. It keeps improving little by little. We will see how it compares to the new Edge browser. So far I really like it.

I'm using Brave Beta with Brave shields all enabled and it works great. (y) Only extensions are EBS and WDBP. Simple is better. I doubt that the new Edge will be any better, except for the Smartscreen advantage.

I don't think the fingerprint protection on Brave is adequate enough. A complete block of Canvas fingerprinting is a fingerprint by itself. It's adblocking capabilities could be a lot better too, but we cannot grumble. Most other Web browsers do not have this.

I use Brave as my default browser. Never had a problem with it.

Yes, the panoptclick test showed the fingerprint test just loading forever, with no results. But I haven't seen any adds or pop-ups yet, though there is no way to configure rules as far as I know.

There is none unfortunately, I would include an Adblocker however, the default in brave can be fairly downsided.

However I like the HTTPS upgrade. Good to beat MITM attacks. Brave also has Tor built in too.
