Security risk now classed as lowish :)
Been a while since my last change around.

Removed:
Emsi Anti-Malware & Online Armor.
Sandboxie.
Bitdefender Trafficlight browser extensions.

Added:
Comodo Internet Security 5.10 set up as per this guide although removed trusted vendor list and Avast! 7 free with just two shields active: network and script.
BitDefender Trafficlight now system wide using web installer version.

Main reason for change machine not being used in any 'high risk' situations, and Emsi was slowing down usage at times although i heartily recommend EAM as detection rates are possibly the best i've ever come across.
Combo of DNS/BDTL/Avast! and CIS will ensure excellent 'prevention' and memory usage is very light, could trim it still but feel very safe with this set up.

Avast! 7 free (Network and Script Shields only).

Is Avast effective in anyway with only Network and Script Shield?

RIP Emsisoft from your system. Aren't they going to combine the 2 to make a proper Internet Suite?

Avast! does offer that extra layer believe it or not, i have tested this with around 250 + malicious links and it runs seamlessly with no real load.

I really rate EAM/OA but found it could get a little sluggish, this current set up really flies in comparison.
It's a combo i'm also familiar and comfortable with :)

Emsi will be phasing out OA++ end of this year, ongoing i would hope an all in one suite must be on the drawing board but nothing has been announced.

Removed Avast! 7
After lengthy and extensive tests BitDefender Trafficlight/Sendori DNS are blocking around same percentage of malicious links that the Avast! network shield does.
@ Earth
So no need for Avast! after all
Setup is now light as a feather :)
Next step could be to remove resident av and maybe just sandbox everything :D
Will i be so brave ?
Watch this space ...
Upgraded to Dragon browser 19.1

What's your use for Comodo, if you've never mentioned it.

Primarily prevention and ease of use, alongside incredibly low memory footprint.

I spy you are now using resident AV ;)

Was wondering: Hows BleachBit compared to CCleaner?

Well actually they are pretty same and safe to use them both as differ on the database only.

Bleachbit is just a disk cleaner, but CCleaner is a disk, registry cleaner, startup manager, and you know the rest of them. :p

I love Bleachbit because it has a version for Linux. :D

Okay. But I removed ESET and all on-demand scanners, except for VT Uploader. I really don't care about AV protection anymore.

My loss if I get infected, because it will really affect how I function in real life. I might become brain-dead, but during the Zombie Apocalypse, it's not a problem.

Just like other accidents.
