As far as I'm concerned, any anonymous source on the Internet is worthy as much trust as me saying I'm not an ali... errr.. whatever.

This applies not only to Kaspersky but any other conspiracy out there... unfortunately, we're living in an age where many people accept the "It's true because... trust me" source of information. If it's true release the code and let it be audited by competent people.
