This is the info from the link included in above post:

Why does my browser connect to fastly.com IP addresses on startup after installing Privacy Badger?

EFF uses Fastly to host EFF’s Web resources: Fastly is EFF’s CDN. Privacy Badger pings the CDN for the following resources to ensure that the information in them is fresh even if there hasn’t been a new Privacy Badger release in a while:

EFF does not set cookies or retain IP addresses for these queries.

A post from Privacy Badger's primary developer:
Our Edge and Firefox versions are still MV2. The main reason for staying on MV2 is that MV3 is buggy. Edge has its own bugs (for example), and I am sure so does Firefox.
At some point we will either be forced to migrate, or MV3 will become less buggy and more fully featured than MV2 (at least for Privacy Badger's immediate needs), in which case we will migrate voluntarily.

Using an older version of Firefox?

ALL add-ons will stop working on Firefox versions older than 128 (or older than ESR 115.13+) on March 14, in just a few days from now.

To keep using your add-ons including Privacy Badger, you will need to update Firefox: support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/roo...
