it does not use signatures at all.It use the engines in the cloud from 10 vendors, dont know all vendors only know Eset, Avg, microsoft essential. Other than the cloud av it use a offline ai engine that doesnt need signatures and a whitelist function(it use Everything for it).

For the offline antivirus, it is based on Artificial Intelligence. Unlike the traditional antivirus, AI does not use signature.
The other offline protection that SecureAPlus has is Application Whitelisting.

What’s New:

• SecureAge APEX model v5.9
• ClamAV 0.101.2
• Setting to enable/disable automatic full system scan.
• When SecureAPlus license has expired, (1) APEX sensitivity is set to low and (2) Automatic full system scan would be disabled.
• Resume silent installation after reboot if the installation terminated in the middle.
• Added interpreter: inetinfo.exe and extension: .asp into script rule
• Notification when there is a request for whitelist approval (setting is available at the portal

Bugs Fixed:

• The full system scan button did not animate when it performs an automatic full system scan.
• Access denied when deleting virus file from app whitelisting dialog.
• The error text message in Universal AV scan settings was not according to the theme color.

Modifications:

• Auto upload now can be disabled permanently.
• The auto upload will always be on for users that have an expired license.
• Centralized auto upload setting for manual scanner and Universal AV full system scan.

Trying to update now with painfully slow download rate...
This needs to be addressed, whenever I see a new user of SAP posting here or somewhere else this always comes up, your server speeds.
These new users will obviously bail your product and try something else.

Here are the changes on this version.

Bugs fixed:
- The program did not automatically download Avira add-on after the license entered.
This bug is started from SecureAPlus version 5.3.0

Modifications
- Horizontal scrollbar will automatically appear if the whitelisted command line is long.
- Updated German translation
- Updated traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese translation.
- Updated trusted certificates
- Added double quote for service path that contains space.

What's new:
- If it is required to adjust the trust level for a running process (e.g. to a trusted installer), the client will check in the "Global Whitelist" (for SMS) or "My Approved Whitelist" (at the portal).
In the older version, this can’t be done, and the process will remain in its current trust level.
- New option for upload file type: Executable and script files
- For newly installed SecureAPlus, the default upload file type for Universal AV is: "Executable and script files"
- Upload file type now can be changed from Universal AV settings.
- Added script, interpreter: iexplore.exe, extensions: .mht, and .mhtml
