I also hate automatic "full version" trials. This way you don't know what you're getting in the free version for literally months in this case and that's super annoying.

If I understand this right, FREE version will only use ClamAV and APEX for realtime scans (no UniversalAV).

Yes, plus whitelist.
And ClamAV installation is optional

ClamAV has a poor detection rate. There are better option if you just want to use the whitelist and Apex option.

- Computer freezes when script interpreter is set to *
- On App Settings > Application Whitelisting > Advanced Settings > Status > Initial Application Whitelisting status, when whitelisting is in progress, the cursor shape is changed to pointing hand cursor to indicate that it is clickable.
- Default settings for SecureAPlus Lite users are now fixed:

Could you please ask SecureAPlus developer on Wilders if they could add an option for users to skip the trial and go to "Lite" version straight away? I hate being forced to use full featured trial and not knowing what you're really getting with the Lite version until it expires. Especially when you willingly and decisively go for Lite version for a reason and you don't want full featured trial getting in the way. And waiting for it to run out is loooooong.

We probably will come out with something to allow user to skip this via portal. This may need some time to develop.
Currently if you want to skip the trial, please send a request to secureaplus@secureage.com, and let us know your SecureAPlus Id.

Skip via portal is to much hassle for users looking for a free AV, this needs to be done in the setup file as easy and clear as possible.
To be honest I think people do not want to sign up for an free account even, there are plenty free alternatives without this extra "work".

I guess the product does not work as intended (whitelisting), if it does not scan the files for anomalies...
