Why the heck does MT keep showing the capthcha where I have to check a box to prove I am human when I use Vivaldi, but does not do so when I use Brave? If I want to go to MT, there is the captcha, and if it does let me on MT, then every thread I want to open requires me to check that box when I use Vivaldi!? (This post is made with Brave.)

@Jack Hi Jack! Today I'm noticing that every thread is auto refreshing every few seconds. There's this refresh animation on top right. Is this intended behavior or a bug? It doesn't happen on the homepage

Try pressing the "toggle width" button at the very lower left of any forum page, next to theme switch.

Except now that I try this, it doesn't seem to do anything.

There is no toggle switch for the light theme here. The dark theme has one, but it just slightly stretches the interface. I simply don't like this recent change, which looks overcrowded and reduces the real estate for comments.

Hi rashmi,

I use the light forum style, and I don't see the new cards or menus on the right side. But I use uBlock Origin (on Firefox) with 35 custom filter rules to hide MalwareTips forum elements that I don't like, to make it palatable to me. Good chance that one of my filter rules hides the new cards or menus that you reported.

If you use a content blocker, like uBlock Origin, I suppose you can use the element picker to hide the new cards or menus that you don't like.

By the way, and not related to the above:
I do notice a change in the reply menu: several options are now hidden in three-dot submenus. I don't know about some, but "Toggle BB code," "Remove formatting," and "Drafts" were not hidden before. No biggie, but I notice this change.

Hi everyone, this is just a test to improve user experience. We’ve added a sidebar to the thread view to enhance content discoverability. We’ll keep it active for a few days and review the feedback. If it doesn’t work well for you, we can easily remove it. :LOL:
