RE: Stranger Desktop Security Setup

there is another avp.exe process that runs which I forgot to make clear on the screenshot request. Can you please tick Show processes for all users?

There should be 2 avp.exe processes: one which will consume higher ram.

How is Kasperky Pure. Isn't it a Cloud AV?

It is cloud av but it does not only depend on cloud like panda webroot it had signature based av which is effective as other av product, similar to KIS,You can turn off cloud protection and it will provide full and best protection in that case too,Cloud protection is an optional and extra feature.

Very light on system even lighter than eset and avast :)

Not very difficult for a cloud AV, if you said compared to kingsoft, Webroot or Panda it will be different ! :D

It is not only cloud av but a signature based av where you have extra feature of cloud protection. You can turn off cloud protection but signature based full protection of av cannot be disabled.

I said it is light because it is full feature signature+cloud based Security system with many extra layer of protection.

RE: Stranger Desktop Security Setup

I am not a fan of participating in antivirus security network,I don't send my computer info to neither of antivirus company so I like to turn off cloud protection

You have to send info to community to enable cloud protection which i dislike

Kaspesky Pure works well without any popups warning even without cloud av and it is not like webroot or panda where cloud protection and internet connection is must during scan or protection.

Without KSN? That's rather brave.

Screen resolution as mentioned. I would suggest buying a widescreen monitor, a 24-inch will have 1920x1080, but make sure the colours are vibrant otherwise it doesn't look great. :D

I've been working on a 1600x900 for 4 years this Autumn.

Not really. You've got a pretty solid configuration going on there. Let's see how long it is before you get bored of it. :p
That's the problem with a good security product: it's great at protecting you, but it lacks the edge of surprise and style that constantly changing security products has.
