Tried it about a year ago but while the ram usage in Task M.anager was low, opening documents, web browser etc was slowed down somewhat.

Maybe it just didn`t agree with my system ?

No Firewall is a bummer.

I didn't know that about Trend Micro either, but F-Secure's been getting by without one for years. A person could use WFC or GlassWire (my preference) for a more user friendly firewall, and they're both free. And I haven't needed to add it into F-Secure Exclusions.

TrendMicro recently upgraded it's AL detection it's very aggressive and does not display much false positives however i would suggest hypersensitive mode. script detection is good to.
