Rush, at the Kia Forum in L.A. This is from tonight at the the first concert of the R50 Tour. Xanadu. It's a cell phone video shot from Stage Right but it's still very good. Annika absoutely nails this song. Geddy and Alex are clearly having a great time playing live again. I hope we get some pro-quality video as the tour progresses over the summer.

@Captain Holly My friend is booked for two Rush concerts this year, I saw 'final' concert in Toronto with him a few years ago :)
I have been a Rush fan since the 70's. I have only seen one Rush live concert, it was in 1987 at the Omni in Atlanta, on the Hold Your Fire tour. It was a great concert, I remember they dropped about 1,000 red balloons from the ceiling at the end of the show. I will not go to one of these R50 concerts though, my hearing is too badly damaged now for me to enjoy a live concert. Plus they are all sold out anyway.

I hadn't heard of Rush until I asked my friend to suggest a heavy rock band, and he suggested A Farewell to Kings that had just come out, which I really liked, and have liked them since.
I'm at the same place with my hearing, my concert days are over, unless it's in a bar type setting, or a smaller venue setting.

My first introduction to Rush was in early 1977, it was 2112. A friend from school played the album one day when I was at his house. I have been a huge fan ever since.

These have a better shot of the entire stage, plus you can see the video screens above the stage. The audio is a little better on both videos. There is also a drum-cam video strictly focused on Annika, it is on Youtube. It has good audio too and Annika is an absolute monster in this show but I don't want to post that one here, I don't mean to keep preaching about Rush R50 but I am pretty excited about it.

Oh, What the heck...here she is. Absolutely killing it on every song they played last night. Someone on one of the videos made the comment "Professor, meet the Graduate." So true. Annika is phenomenal. Geddy and Alex did a great job as well, so did the hired keyboard player Loren Gold, but you don't really see or hear him too much in any of the concert videos. On this one the drum cam video starts at about the 7:30 mark.
