I listened to their Luminescence album on YouTube yesterday. I didn't like it very much either. I have not listened to any of their other stuff yet.

I have listened to this record over and over and it really is a piece of musical carpentry. With texts that actually means and say something.

This one i really like.

Talking without speaking, is what we do all the time with each other.

Very true. This is one of those records that really resonates with me. I played it again today, it is one of the best I have heard in the last few years.

So, now i am interested in what other records resonate with you. Name a few you like please.
That's kind of a difficult thing for me to answer, really. There are a lot of bands with so many albums they have released. Not all of them are good and not all of them appeal to me. I don't use Spotify or BandCamp so I don't follow specific bands online. I do read up on a few music forums, Heavy Harmonies being one. I like mostly rock and AOR, but I grew up in the 70's and 80's so I still listen to a lot of music from that time. I like some but not all of the modern progressive rock that is out there now. I also listen to some music from the British New Romantic period, Roxy Music, New Order and a few others.

A few favorite albums of mine are

Ghost Of The Machine - Panopticon
Khymera - Master Of Illusions, The Greatest Wonder and Stand Your Ground. The Greatest Wonder is my favorite of these 3
Work Of Art - Exhibits, Framework
Riverside - Love, Fear, And The Time Machine
Moonrise - The Lights Of A Distant Bay, Soul's Inner Pendulum, Stopover Life. Soul's Inner Pendulum is my favorite of these 3
New Order - Power, Corruption And Lies, Substance 1987
Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon
Queensryche - The Warning, their 1982 Self-Titled EP
State Of Shock - Life, Love And Lies, Rock N Roll Romance
Rush - Moving Pictures, 2112, Signals
Face To Face - Self-Titled. This was the "new wave" band from Boston in 1984, not the punk band with the same name. Their singer Laurie Sargent also did a great job singing on some of the songs in the soundtrack to the movie Streets Of Fire.
Saraya - Self Titled, When The Blackbird Sings if there was one 80's band I would like to see get back together, it would be Saraya. That cannot happen though, two original members have passed away now.

These are a few of my favorites. There are many more bands and albums that I like, and other people will surely have different or maybe the same musical tastes as I do. I have always thought that is the beauty of and best thing about any music, it only has to please the listener and the artist.

I knew that I had heard that name before, but it was not until I started listening to this video that memories of probably having heard it before came back.

I think that one of my former classmates had this song in his music collection back in college when he shared it with me.

I probably played this song on repeat, and it got lost in time when my MP3 player got stolen.

Now after all these years, it is returning to my music collection.

Thank you @Zero Knowledge for the trip down memory lane. :)
