This is one of those songs that means a great deal to me, written by another musician that influenced me when younger. The song "Tears in Heaven" is about the pain Clapton felt following the death of his four-year-old son.

I have lost a son as well, around 5 years ago, so this touches me deeply.

Pathfinder, so sorry for your loss and can't even imagine the impact. The magnitude of your loss is way beyond my comprehension. Based on what I read with your explanation of your username, then he was very fortunate to have a dad like yourself. Bless you!

I want to thank you and everyone else for all of your kind words.

I have been through much in my life, some of those times, were rough enough that most would not be able to comprehend, let alone survive. None of those times came close to effecting me the way losing my mid-teen son did.

While he was interested in Tech, he was just as happy if not more being outdoors, hiking, camping, shooting bow, or just sitting under a shade tree with a good book. He had such an amazing good heart, always placing everyone else before himself, would give his shirt off his back to a stranger in need. He made me proud daily.

Thank you all for allowing me to honor his memory here.
