I am using Eset Smart Security Premium for 10 devices.

Its light, got Live Guard and i got it for free from my work.

I tested alot of other AV in the past years.

So what do you use and what made you decide to use this AV ?
I'm using Bitdefender because it offers strong real-time protection, low system impact, and good malware detection rates. I chose it after comparing independent test results and user reviews.

I'm using Kaspersky Standard.

Why Kaspersky?
  • Application Control: it's one of the few commercial antivirus that offer this module. The possibility to default-deny execution of unknown files, wether or not they're safe is, in my opinion, a game-changer + a necessity if you're serious about security.
  • System Watcher: I find it to be a very efficient and quick to respond behaviour blocker. Plus the rollback of malware actions is an outstanding feature.
  • KSN: Kaspersky Security Network is IMO one of the best cloud infrastructure service in the industry.
Why the most basic paid version?

Because it has the less bloatware.

RAM usage shouldn't be a big problem if you have a lot of RAM available. However, RAM usage makes it quick to block any malicious processes that the sooner they stop, the better to avoid damaging your PC. Also, RAM usage, if you have enough, doesn't slow down your PC usage unlike CPU usage or hard disk read/write (but if you have an SSD, this isn't a problem).
I would say Bitdefender's protection is one of the best at the moment.
What your saying for 99% of the users that true but not for me. I just recently upgrade my laptop & i went with 128GB of ram.
