Hi Dani,
Some feedback for you about Xvirus Personal Guard (version 5.3).
Tested on Windows 10, 64-bit (real-machine)
Good
+ Interesting installer
+ Initial scan
+ Fast installation
+ No slowdowns
Possible bugs
- Made right click scan. Scanned VoodooShield installer and it was detected (without threat name)
Information: When I turned off heuristic then it was not detected.
Screenshot of False positive
- Renamed (manually) database files sucessfully (Xvirus was enabled). Restarted Xvirus (Whitelist was empty now). Then it detected Windows file as suspicious (I allowed detected file via notification and then Xvirus freezed).
- Uninstaller is not working properly. Tried to uninstall via Control Panel. Got message that it was uninstalled successfully and entry was removed but Xvirus shortcut was still there and I launched Xvirus. Directory still exists in Program Files.
Suggestion
* Maybe you can add some kind of protection or verification for database files too.
@Dani Santos Keep it up and if you have any questions then feel free to ask anytime.
Regards,
Kardo
