At the moment I don't see any ads on Youtube. Maybe it is country depended.

Not experienced this issue though I have had to do some allow rules for playback on some streaming services which is more trial an error than anything. The trick I found is allowing some source youtube - domain = youtube for example:

Which allows Youtube to check the status while still blocking your ads

It's tiral and error really. I had a mate that blocked loads of youtube stuff through filtering, below was what I used to implement but tha was some time ago.
