No worries, still not Brave enough, but I am all knowing :D
I have tested Brave, but my preferred browser now is still Edge integrated in Windows 10 20H2.
For me, no need to install a third-party browser anymore.
Brave and Edge are the only browsers (not counting some forms of ungoogled chromium) that are kept extremely fast up to date with the latest security updates from Google Chrome / the Chromium project. That should count for something on a security enthusiasts forum.

They got sync working again:
Starting today, Brave desktop users (version 1.12) and Android users (version 1.12) can use our fully redesigned sync functionality to sync data from desktop to desktop, as well as across desktop and Android devices. Support for iOS will follow shortly.

Sync v2 was rebuilt over the last several months to be more directly compatible with the Chromium sync system. Sync v2 supports more sync data types, while still keeping the client side data encrypted, so only users can see their data.

Users will be able to sync multiple different data types across their devices:
  • Bookmarks
  • Passwords
  • Autofill Data
  • History
  • Open Tabs
  • Extensions
  • Themes
  • Settings
  • Apps

FYI if you're using Brave's built-in adblocker: You can block cookie notices by enabling this

Today I found out that Brave even has cosmetic filtering support which can be enabled in brave://flags. It works great on most sites. I also see that if I choose aggressive blocking in Brave shield then uBlock Origin has left with barely anything to block. Brave intercept network requests before uBlock Origin/any extension, something Chromium Edge's tracking protection also does which is nice unlike Vivaldi and maybe even Opera.
I was looking for cosmetic filtering support on Android but turns out they can't enable that till it supports extensions. Android also don't support aggressive mode and additional filters like EasyList cookie at the moment. When everything is properly ready it's going to be a really great choice both on PC and Android.

Looks like this is not the type of Sync I was looking for. This sync works between one device to another. It doesn't require a Brave account, data are not saved on their servers like the sync functions of Firefox, Chrome, Edge, etc. So in case both my laptop and phone gets stolen I am probably gonna lose all data. There's no way to disconnect my previous devices and connect a new device to my account and recover everything. I know some will actually like this non server related thing but that's a bummer for me personally and I'm gonna have to give up Brave
Correct me if I'm wrong btw.

Yeah, I'm kind of torn on that as well. For one it is very privacy oriented, but it is not as useful as just having an account with a cloud backup.

This is actually a very good point which I never thought before.. They could at least offer the possibility to remotely remove a device using another device from the sync chain if one chooses to.

Edit:
They are already planning to implement such a feature in the future (check below)

But is it going to let you sync data of old device to new one? I'm talking about in case my devices get damaged/stolen, is there any way to recover that data?
