Comodo Dragon 18.1 is now available for download from the following link:
http://download.comodo.com/dragon/DragonSetup.exe

CHANGED:
- Chromium core 18.0.1025.152.
- Right-click menu to hide Site Inspector button added.
- Right-click menu to hide "Share page" button added.

FIXED:
- Fixed detection in installer if Flash Player is already installed.
- Installation didn't work correctly if Dragon was launched during silent automatic update.
- Extension balloon was displayed outside of the Comodo Dragon window.

I didn't realise Dragon ran a background updating service. I know Google Chrome updates using Task Scheduler.

I'll add this to another reason why I don't need to use Dragon. :p

In the screen you took, you underlined 2 services that belong to Comodo Backup.
For Dragon you can do as i did , modify the service entry to Start Manually.

Yeah that is what I have noticed as well now.

Maybe. I don't know the reasoning behind it. Perhaps they felt in the event of an emergency update, a running process would be quicker to update than a scheduled update?

In my opinion, I think an update check upon opening the browser would be sufficient.
