For now, latest Security Update (CVE-2023-43896) is only for paid users of Macrium Reflect Home.
But I remember that MR free version might receive also security updates at least until this year 2023. Note: I can't find official information about that ;)

Macrium Reflect FREE v8.0.7690 this version should be available via Macrium built-in updater... I just taken this release notes from UI of Macrium Reflect Free ;)

  • Rescue Media
    • We have successfully addressed a longstanding issue related to the rescue media, rectifying the potential failure to auto-populate the 'Existing Backups' view. The root cause of this problem was identified as a change, made by Windows Update on some systems, to a GPT attribute setting that concealed the system volume at PE startup.
    • We've resolved a problem where an auto restore could hide the main Reflect window in the rescue media.

    • Support for DirectStorage has now been added to our MRVDP, MRVHDX and MRVMDK file-system filter drivers.
    • If multiple backup destinations exist for the same unavailable network share, then Reflect will now only attempt to login once when populating the Existing Backups view. This speeds up population execution.
    • Reflect Uninstall was not cleaning up all viBoot services. This has been resolved.
  • Rescue Media
    • Drive X: backup destinations in Windows will now get automatically remapped to the newly assigned PE drive in the rescue media.
    • The Rescue Media option to automatically restart after a backup was incorrectly defaulted to restart. This has been resolved.
    • The Rescue Media startup splash screen was not localized. This is now resolved.
    • When running in the Rescue Media, CHKDSK would report that MBR volumes were in-use. This has been resolved.
    • The existing Existing Backups view wasn't honoring the 'selected' checkbox when copying the settings from Windows. This has been resolved.

    • If you had a substantial number of existing backups, the Reflect User Interface could take many seconds to initialize. This has now been resolved.
    • An issue with Redeploy and some Intel RST device drivers has now been resolved.
    • Sometimes, mounting a Reflect image in the Recovery Environment could take a long time. This has now been resolved.
  • Rescue Media
    • The name of the computer used to create a Reflect backup is stored within the backup file and displayed by Macrium Site Manager. If a backup was created in the Recovery Environment, previously the cryptic Windows RE name was stored. Now the Windows desktop computer name is used.
  • Various
    Various other minor fixes, language translation improvements and other changes to enhance Macrium Reflect.
