Hello,

I really liked Kaspersky Anti-Virus, but i always found a bug what get me angry and hold me/prevent in my work. Now Kaspersky's new hobby is: closing Chrome windows if i'm using cloud services for a long time.
Enough now! :)

I need a good balanced antivirus whith good protection what let me use my PC! Got important documents but I'm using daily and cloud backup. Last known malware infection was ~6-7 years ago.
However it's a difficult question.
I don't need firewall and other additional stuffs just antivirus. I really don't need bugs anymore! Is itt possible?
Last
Here is some solutions, it tried each but i can't decide. Can you help me?

My work: Testing php based systems, softwares and websites. I'm using VPN and remote desktop too, and writing documents, supporting users etc.

F-Secure Safe: Here is not so much information about F-Secure long time. Why? I tried and system impact is very-very low but settings and notification/choice chance is zero.

Emsisoft: So-so. Has good protection but also buggy :(

ESET NOD32: Good system impact but descent protention. Thats right?

I tried bitdefender.. my god.. Bitdefender is slowing web-surfing like a hell.

Thanks!

Hmm...already stated that All AVs perform different in all PCs. For example, Kaspersky, Emsisoft, Eset, Avira, BullGuard, and Avast work well on my old system(Note that I don't install all of them together), But it may performs different in someone else's pcs :) The most effective solutions are give them a try for 30 days and then decide which works well on your system. So, you're choosing EAM, right ? Good choice (y)

Quite true... I have Bitdefender Total Security running smoothly on my father-in-law's 2nd generation i3 desktop and have seem people with newer i5s and i7s complaining that Bitdefender was heavy on their systems. That is why you should always try the software first and see how it interacts with your system.

Nothing beats kaspersky in AV technology...followed by G DATA from my own tests (BB)...If not go for F SECURE....but no options to tweak and a bit FP"s..
Clunky interface..but very good in terms of protection....
the problem with EMSISOFT is its quite good...but in terms of BB...it flags both good and bad programs as well..until CLOUD QUERY is arrived..even for HITMAN PRO (SUSPICIOUS PROC detected)??..so that dilutes its effectiveness (my view)...

HANDS DOWN TO NORTON (SONAR )...works quiet differently ..and pretty light on system too..but the issue is (CLOUD BASED)..less offline protection..applies to SONAR as well..(SYMANTEC IS THE CREATOR OF AV)..FACT should be agreed
but if ur system is quiet good..Go for BITDEFENDER...extreme signatures flagging keygens and cracks as virus.."THIS IS WHERE KASPERSKY LEADS ANS SEPARATE THEMSELVES"

Depends if you can control your mouse clicks or not. Windows Defender on Windows 10 is quite enough for the computer literate and lower risk users. If you travel with your devices, you may need additional protection by third-party vendors.

NEVER EMSI with KASPERSKY...Kaspersky is a LEGEND and TREND SETTER and leads the crown all the way (ONE WAY TRAFFIC).....Have R&D...own av technologies and labs working all round the CLOCK...one of the first vendors to have a SIGNATURE after FORTINET...I have used EMSI but as I said IT REQUIRES TOO USER INTERVENTIONS FOR EACH AND EVERYTHING...if the user allows MASSACRE begins..
COMPARISON IS ITSELF WRONG...SORY Emsi.

Each and every file is thoroughly analyzed in case of G DATA (except bit def signs) and KASPERSKY....they simply do not add a detection like few vendors who run after DETECTION RATES...They may be SLOW TO REACT but always FASTER TO SOLVE !!

FOR EX:- The link (http://vms.drweb.ru)..is legitimate and authorised and belongs to DR WEB...but i have encountered this ZERO DAY LINK few days ago....and tested in VT...knowing the link is SAFE.
THE RESULT is EMSI AND F SECURE had given a RED EYE...after a DAY / or two f secure has passed the link as SAFE(mEANS IT ANALYZED IN THEIR LABS)...but even at this time of posting the link..i have tested and result is same..THE LINK IS MALICIOUS ONLY TO EMSISOFT and no other A-V vendors..
so this concludes :-
Do emsisoft guys test and analyze all the malware and URLs thoroughly ...or simply flag the links posted in (**open phish) and other sites and blindly add them to their DATABASES.!!!!^^

So, for example, between ESET, QIHOO and KASPERSKY, is Kaspersky the best choice?.
