@Guilhermesene

Thanks for the feedback! You can install this new version over-the-top of the installed version, reboot is not needed.

Multilingual for some of our applications is on the todo list.

@ItsReallyMe

Thanks for the additional useful information.
after Sep 15, Forza Horizon 5 (Steam) update, core isolation, LSA, Svchost mitigation works without any issues!

Thanks a lot for the update @ItsReallyMe

After looking at other forums it looks like some other users have reported potential issues with Core Isolation and/or Svchost mitigations with some specific applications (such as Steam games), it seems these issues are very low, however for now I prefer to keep these 3 options unchecked by default on Home User profile.

We've released SysHardener v2.3:
https://www.syshardener.com

Here is what's new:

[19-Oct-2022] - v2.3.0.0

+ Updated Help file
+ Added new Windows security tweaks
+ Improved restoring to defaults of some Windows tweaks
+ Added new privacy tweaks
+ Added options to uninstall default Windows Apps
+ Moved SysHardener to its own website
+ Improved installer/uninstaller script
+ Updated Home and Business profiles
+ Minor fixes and optimizations
The product has been moved on its own website and the price is now $7.99 for Personal and $14.99 for Business (you get a 10% off coupon code if you subscribe to the newsletter).

We've also increased the discounts for 2+ devices, e.g for 3 devices the pricing is $17,97 and for 5 devices $25,95 (Personal version).

If you subscribed to Appsvoid only for SysHardener then just contact me via email and I can fully refund Appsvoid subscription.

Here are the new available tweaks:

Completely Uninstall OneDrive
Hide Shutdown Button from Lock Screen
Turn Off Spellcheck provided by Microsoft Editor on Microsoft Edge
Turn Off Search Highlights
Turn Off Widgets (News And Interests) & Windows Feeds
Unassociate .CPL File Extension
Uninstall Windows Apps
All tweaks can be restored to their factory-default values, same goes for OneDrive and Windows Apps (if you select to restore them they will be re-installed).

All tweaks work fine with latest Windows 11 22H2.

In this new version the option to show hidden and system files and the option to disable autoplay for any drive are unchecked in both Home and Business profile.

We received some emails about this suggestion so we decided to uncheck them in both profiles.

A small update:

The newsletter subscription had an issue and is fixed now (the confirmation email failed to be sent to the subscriber).

We made some changes to the pricing for Home users and now it is $5.99 USD, that converts to €7.99 EUR including VAT (22% for Italy).

However VAT may be different from the country from where you purchase the product, so pricing may be different for UK, DE, NL, etc since they all have different VAT.

Basically, on the $5.99 USD base pricing FastSpring has to convert it to your currency (using the current exchange rate) and add the country-specific VAT, if that applies

Hope this information can help also other users that see the pricing in the checkout to be different from the base price.

1. powershell constrained language mode cannot be reverted (restore to disabled\fulllanguage mode) once it is set
2. disable powershell script execution (execution policy: machine policy = restricted) cannot be reverted (restore to disabled\original execution policy) once it is set
3. disable windows script host did not revert (restore to disabled\allow WHS) in a few test instances
4. restore points are not being created during apply or restore operations when the user chooses to create a restore point (the underlying cause might be windows 11 22H2 itself)

Some information:

This option was added because IE is deprecated but can still be abused by malware in some W10 builds:
Block Outbound Connections for Iexplore.exe

If you use a third-party browser like Firefox or Chrome, we added this option that can be useful for some:
Block Outbound Connections for Msedge.exe

This option is applied to all Firefox profiles:
Mozilla Firefox - Disable JavaScript on PDF Reader

We've added options to block outbound connections of some Windows Apps like WindowsCamera.exe, Microsoft.Photos.exe, etc.

Most of these new options are disabled in both Home and Business profiles.

SysHardener v2.9.0 released:
[11-Mar-2024] - v2.9.0.0
+ Removed Enable Svchost.exe Mitigation Options
+ Updated NoVirusThanks License Manager with latest version
You can install it "over-the-top" of the installed version, reboot is not needed.

The option "Enable Svchost.exe Mitigation Options" was creating incompatibilities with some third-party software so we have removed it entirely.
