Ghost in the Shell (Anime)- where Matrix got its core ideas from
Event Horizon - this one gave me nightmares, even though there was nothing scary about it

Contact, Cloud Atlas, V for Vendetta and The Lake House are also awesome movies.
But if I had to choose only one it would definitely be The Fountain ;)

Many of the movies that all of you have mention i enjoy watching over and over again.

But one of my favorites is Braveheart.
The end of the movie is just shocking and amazing at the same time
