You can still disable through group policy, but there are a tons of new security things. Exploit guard and so on. Folder protection.

If you want latest update, you need to integrated 16299.19 not .20

About updates, your choice. Usually is said to install latest updates, for security or bug fixing reason. But also the opposite can be true.

Just a FYI for those of you who use Secure-A-Plus, you will have to resintall the program to get the white-listing drivers to work again. The update causes the driver to become corrupt.

Whatever you do make sure you remove Kaspersky BEFORE the update. I had it just disabled and after a few hours of use started having random slowdowns and freezes. Traced the problem to Kaspersky that wouldn't uninstall forcing me to use the uninstall tool... Still checking for damages but everything seems to be fine now.

Yes, it is a bit strange now my seasons are all mixed up.

Whatever you do make sure you remove Kaspersky BEFORE the update. I had it just disabled and after a few hours of use started having random slowdowns and freezes. Traced the problem to Kaspersky that wouldn't uninstall forcing me to use the uninstall tool... Still checking for damages but everything seems to be fine now.

You need Kaspersky (d) to work properly which Kaspersky been rolling out for a week, it caused no issues for me

I used the media ctreationtoll as it is not availablle through the update assistant here yet. I might just have to wait.

I've seem many comments saying the update assistant path is quite faster than through Windows Update. I have no idea if it's true as I used Windows Update myself.
