@SumTingWong Thank you for the heads up. It's a false positive. Just tested it and it's being flagged by Defender, can't even download without disabling it. Sometimes that happens. I always test before each monthly release, as I did, but this time it only got flagged afterwards. Already reported the false positive.

Hello everyone,

An updated version of Antivirus Removal Tool has been released, version 2025.03 (v.1).

### Changed:
- Updated the following uninstallers: Avast, AVG, Emsisoft, Total Defense, Trend Micro.
- Adjusted the Bitdefender uninstallers to match their official classification: "Latest Generation" and "2020 Generation".
- On Windows 10 and later, clicking "Open Windows Add/Remove Programs" now opens the "Apps & Features" settings page instead.

### Removed
- Removed the Winpatrol uninstaller.
- Removed the Bitdefender 2019 uninstaller.

If you have suggestions for other security programs to add, feel free to let me know (the requirement is that the manufacturer provides a publicly available dedicated uninstaller).

Thank you!

@AlexCa fyi Checkpoint Harmony ran an automatic scan on my win10, and it did NOT like Antivirus Removal Tool on my SSD and automatically Quarantined it with no chance for me to interact -- AVRT was not even running, but gee not sure which version (sorry but not sure which version was on SSD).

Thanks for the heads up again. Not much I can do besides report the false positives when they happen.
