I have had to change my config, due to unforeseen events.
Due to a very unpleasant and underwhelming customer
service experience I have removed HMP.A & will be letting
HMP's subscription expire.
The changes are reflected up above.
Please don't ask for details as I am not here to smear SurfRight
It just amazes me how such a wonderful and amazing product
can have such a ineffective support system. it saddens me.

I can't the key is tied to HMP as well and it is still installed (For now)
if this changes I will remember you asked and hand it over.
I have asked Erik to look into my issue and wont uninstall HMP
till I see it through, this is so they can locate what keys are actually
active on my system for that particular software. We will talk more later.
EDIT: Svoll the only key active now is the giveaway key for HMP they nuked my key for HMPA, you can view the thread over at Wilders in the HMPA support section, sorry

I'd heard this about SurfRight, upsetting to hear that it's the same story with Sophos. I've personally never had an activation issue, never understood how it was automated as soon as you install it. I can see licensing becoming an issue with activation like that.

Yeah me too, and I loved their software.
Seeing I utilize only Sig-less protection HMPA was perfect for me and worked flawlessly.
It was nice having HMP for scanning too.
These companies don't get that their software is only as good as the folks that stand behind it,
no matter how well it performs.
Thanks for the reply @sudo -i

Posted this in another thread but it's relevant in this thread.

Sophos buying HMP.Alert was the worse thing to happen to surfright.nl.

I fear HMP.Alert will be second best to the Sophos Intercept X corporate product in terms of updates and new features.

I just hope they don't abandone HMP.Alert for public users in the near future.

I am done testing for now until new options enter the market
that spark my interest.
I updated my config to what I am sticking with until I start testing
again.
*EmsiSoft AM 2017.1
*HMP.A 3.6.3 Build 582 RC1.
*Windows Firewall Control 4.9.2.0
After testing, this will be the *Default config I always return to.

You've come to the dark side, I see. I thought you were gonna accompany everyone to signatureless.

I am, I took a detour.
I have a soft spot for EmsiSoft, Mr. Ott saw to that :)
I retain the tools to swap back at a moments notice.
What I am waiting for is the next flood of Signature less
solutions to come down the pipe ;)

Trying a new twist in my setup, will post here in a month or so it's
effectiveness.
As you know I am running HMP.A & HMP, I was running Emsisoft along side this setup.
Seeing as Sophos purchased Surfright I am trying a set up that is all "technically"
Sophos, here it looks like this:
Sophos Home: 1.1.2
HMP.A: 3.6.3 -586
HMP: 3.7.15 -281 (On Demand)
It seems solid so far, but I want to see the effectiveness over time,
will post updates here as needed.

Well that did not last long.
Sophos Home bogged down my browsing, used a huge amount of CPU,
and the scan's took forever, I can't in good conscience recommend that
to anyone.
VoodooShield is back where she belongs ;)
**VooDooShield users: Dan has released v3.51 so update now.
Back to my Sig-Free build baby, hellz yeah :p
